Greek Playwriting Project
My classmates and myself were put into groups of three or four. There were three roles for each group and those roles were story boarder, big ideas expert, and writer. Each group made their own plays. Other groups would look over each others plays and vote on which play they liked the most. After a play was chosen they would put people to work on the winning play, so that the play that was chosen could compete against the other plays from other classes. In the end, each class presented their plays to the judges and they selected which play won. My class's main objective was to win Best Play.
For my individual group I was the story boarder. My job was to give a visual for each scene and a description. My visuals were supposed to capture the image in the writers mind. I liked the experience of working in groups with our own parts. I liked exchanging ideas with other group members and creating something great for other people to judge. the only con about being the story boarder is that scenes change and it can be challenging to keep up with the two people with creative minds.
